Mathematical Affliction

We understand where these graphs go
But don’t even bother
To further follow.

These curves they stretch on forever;
Never deviating,
Not ever.

A line a graph keeps approaching
Closer and closer
But never touching.

Torn with the agony
Of almost,
Of never.

That’s how they are,
And how they’ll always be.
Get me out of this
Asymptotic misery.

I don't care who you are; if you're kind, you're beautiful. ^^
