Scars Under the Stars

Do you remember the night we laid under the stars?
Seeking refuge under dim lights just to hide our scars
We drew shapes and lines with the tips of our fingers.
Breathing in cool, night breeze as it blows and lingers
All this time you were looking up at the dark sky
While I stole glances at you and your beautiful eyes
Just then, a shooting star passed by within our view
We briefly thought of those wishes we wanted to come true
You wished for our scars to perish without a clue
I wished that these scars would someday be healed by you.

I don't care who you are; if you're kind, you're beautiful. ^^
